SALISBURY, Md. – After capturing her second career individual tournament title earlier in the week,
Krista Brosius of the Salisbury University women's golf team was dubbed Colonial Women's Golf Conference (CWGC) Golfer of the Week for the third time in her career, as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.
Brosius (So. – Magnolia, Del.) led the Sea Gulls to a team championship at the Premier Collegiate Tournaments Melee in Williamsburg, Va. on Monday and Tuesday, shooting a 13-over 157 for the week and finishing six strokes clear of second place. Facing a four-stroke deficit after shooting a 79 on Monday, she responded with a steady 78 on Tuesday, including two birdies, to clinch the crown.
Through eight rounds across four events this fall, Brosius is averaging 81.1 strokes with two top-five finishes and three top-10s. This is her third career weekly prize from the CWGC after winning it once each in fall 2025 and spring 2026. She is also the second Sea Gull to win the award this fall after
Stella Jaffe on Sept. 23.
Brosius and her Sea Gull teammates will wrap up the fall at the second annual CWGC Championship. The two-day tournament will be hosted at Running Deer Golf Club in Pittsgrove, N.J. on Monday and Tuesday.
