Men’s Soccer blanks Warren Wilson to advance to C2C Championship

Game time of Friday's championship game moved to 11 a.m.

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University Men's Soccer team earned a 2-0 victory over the Warren Wilson College Owls in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Semifinal on Thursday morning inside the Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Soccer Complex.

The Sea Gulls (13-2-3) put themselves on top in the early minutes and never looked back. After a free kick from Conor Moran, David Brunetti headed in SU's quickest goal of the 2026 campaign. The Maroon and Gold went on to generate 16 shots in the first frame, but the Owls (2-13-1) stayed within striking distance going into the break.

Salisbury added a cushion in the 53rd minute. The Sea Gulls won control of the ball on the far wing, and Dale Gordon tried to send in a centering feed, but an Owl defender redirected the pass and crossed up the keeper, and it landed into a yawning cage to make it 2-0 for the hosts.

SU held firmly to the lead, outshooting Warren Wilson 11-5 during the ladder stanza.
