Salisbury posted a 6-2 record in dual meets, including three in a row after the winter hiatus to close out the regular season. The Sea Gulls also led wire-to-wire at the Yellow Jacket Invitational in Hampton, giving the team its first midseason invitational championship in the Nate Parsley era.
The SU women were ranked in multiple College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Top 25 polls during the season and will carry a No. 23 national ranking from January's poll into the championship meet. The Sea Gulls are also ranked 13th in Swimcloud's championship team rankings with 597.28 points, tops among NJAC rivals.
Salisbury earned its first-ever title in any conference by placing first of 10 teams at the 2025 NJAC Championships, clocking in with 1,419 points and overtaking archrival Mary Washington (1,394.5) on the final day to end the Eagles' three-decade championship dynasty.
