Herraiz, Strub named to USILA Team of the Week

SPARKS, Md. – After two strong outings last week, Connor Herraiz and Riley Strub of the fifth-ranked Salisbury University men's lacrosse program were honored as members of the USILA Division III Team of the Week, as announced by the outlet on Wednesday evening.

Herraiz, a senior from Succasunna, NJ, racked up 14 points (5G, 9A) in SU's 21-5 and 20-9 victories over Colorado College and Stevenson, respectively. The attacker notched nine points against the Mustangs by netting three goals and handing out six helpers.

Herraiz ranks leads the Coastal Lacrosse Conference (CLC) in points per game (5.8) and sits fifth in the nation and second in assists per game (3.7) while totaling 21 goals and 37 assists through ten games played this season.

Strub, a senior from Darien, Conn., had a career day on Saturday, finding the back of the cage eight times on 18 attempts in the Sea Gulls' 20-9 triumph over Stevenson. The midfielder added two goals and two assists in Wednesday's contest against Colorado College to pick up a dozen points on the week.

Strub sits fifth in goals per game (2.7) in the CLC and is second behind Herraiz in points (37) for SU.

Herraiz landed on the team of the week for the first time as a Sea Gull. Strub has now made the team of the week three times in his career and for the second time in 2026.
