New York, N.Y. – The Salisbury University track & field program sent select student-athletes to the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference inside The Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory, Fort Washington Avenue, where the Sea Gulls soared, posting five school records.
Meet Notes
- Mia Hill toppled her own school record in the long jump at 5.68 meters (18-07.75), which placed her fourth and 22nd in the country for Division III.
- Anna Bodmer blistered the 5000-meter school record with a time of 17:14.60, which placed her third.
- Marlyse Haack earned first place with a school record jump of 11.95 meters (39-02.50) in the triple jump, which places her 8th in the country for Division III.
- Cormac Moroney also grabbed first place in the mile run with a school record time of 4:14.02.
- Peri Nelson posted a school record in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:21.18. Justin Freeman tallied second place on the men's side with a time of 1:53.41.
- The 4x400 relay team of Andrew Osler, Hayden Myers, Sean McHugh, and Samuel Bradley finished 10th with a time of 3:20.66.
The Sea Gulls will finalize their NCAA Indoor qualifiers when selections are released tomorrow at 7 p.m.
