Men’s Tennis bruised at No. 23 NYU

NEW YORK CITY – The Salisbury University men's tennis team faced a stiff test from the 23rd-ranked New York University Violets, falling 7-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Stadium Tennis Center in The Bronx.
 
MATCH NOTES
  • Maas Jacobs and Chase Catullo earned the Sea Gulls their only victory on the afternoon in third doubles, taking down their NYU duo 6-3.
  • Bobby Stabile fared best in singles play, taking his fourth-singles opponent to three sets before ultimately bowing 6-2, 2-6, 6-1.
 
The Sea Gulls will have two weeks off before heading to Virginia for a pair of matches the weekend of Apr. 25-26, starting on Saturday the 25th at Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) foil Christopher Newport. First serve from Newport News is pegged for 3 p.m.
