Inman makes return appearance on D3baseball Team of the Week

Sophomore posts 1.953 OPS over four Sea Gull wins

SALISBURY, Md. – Third baseman Jackson Inman of the seventh-ranked Salisbury University baseball team earned a slot on the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week for the second time this season and third time in his career, as revealed by the organization on Wednesday morning.

Inman (So. – Damascus, Md.) showed his offensive prowess in a big way over the Sea Gulls' four wins from Apr. 21-25, slashing .615/.722/1.231 with two doubles, two home runs, three stolen bases, nine runs, and 11 RBIs, good for a sky-high 1.953 OPS. After doubling twice and driving in four against York (Pa.), Inman homered in back-to-back games against St. Mary's (Md.) and Penn State Harrisburg, following that up by scoring one of the two SU runs in a 2-1 win at Christopher Newport.

Through 37 starts at the hot corner this season, Inman is batting .379 with 10 doubles, two triples, 10 homers, 10 steals, 46 runs scored, 47 RBIs, and a team-leading 1.200 OPS. He currently leads the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) in round-trippers and rib-eyes while ranking fourth in average. His 10 dingers represent just the 15th double-digit homer campaign in Salisbury history, and he is one away from moving into the top 10 on the SU single-season leaderboard.

Inman has previously made the D3baseball.com Team of the Week on two occasions, once in March 2025 and once this past February.

With Inman finding his groove, the 28-9 Sea Gulls have won eight straight games and moved up 26 slots over the past two weeks in the NCAA Power Index, rising from 36th to 10th in the selection metric. Salisbury will play its final two regular season games against Immaculata on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. and Cairn on Saturday at 1 p.m., both at home, before preparing for next week's C2C Tournament.
