NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Seniors
Lauren Hackett,
Miranda Mears and
Paige Ellis of the Salisbury University women's lacrosse team were chosen by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) to compete in the 2026 Division III Senior All-Star Game,
as announced by the association on Wednesday afternoon. The Division III game will take place on Saturday, May 30th, on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md., beginning at 10:00 a.m. ET.
Mears, wearing number one, Hackett, rocking four, and Ellis suiting up in number 21, will take the field with the White All-Stars squad led by Megan McDonogh, head women's lacrosse coach at The Catholic University of America.
Mears, a senior attacker from Parkside High School in Salisbury, Md., put herself in the record books by scoring 166 goals in her career to rank sixth in SU's program history. Mears started in all 21 contests for the Gulls this season, leading the team with 59 goals on an efficient 57.3 percent clip while adding a helper. The former Parkside Ram struck on six of her 10 free-position shots, only behind Hackett's eight.
Mears brought her goal-scoring knack into the postseason for the Maroon and Gold, tallying 12 markers in four games during the 2026 NCAA DIII Women's Lacrosse Championship. Number nine posted 29 scores in the NCAA Tournament throughout her four-year tenure, including a six-goal outing against Union on May 10, in this year's second round.
Hackett, a senior attacker from Sykesville, Md., produced an exceptional senior campaign, starting in 21 games with 28 tallies and 27 apples, marking career-bests in both marks. In a six-game stretch between April 18 and May 17, the Century High School product logged four points in every contest, including a hat-trick against CNU in the Regional Final on May 17.
Ellis, a senior goalkeeper from Fairfax, Va., solidified the crease for the second straight season since taking over as the starting netminder. The two-time IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region choice stands 18th in the country in goals against average (7.20) and is 41st in the nation with a 47.21 percent save percentage. Ellis boasted a 19-1 this year, and made eight stops in her final outing against Wesleyan (Conn.).
The Division II teams follow the Division III team in Sparks, Md., at 12 p.m., while the Division I stars conclude the day at 3 p.m. Admission for all three games is free of charge. The Senior All-Star games will not be streamed or available to watch online.
