Nick Lewis '21 enters his second year as Assistant Director of Sports Information in 2024-25, serving as the primary contact for men's and women's soccer, men's basketball, and men's and women's lacrosse. Lewis also served as a Sports Information Graduate Assistant at Salisbury in the Fall 2023 semester before transitioning to the full-time position.
Lewis returns to Salisbury University after serving as the Assistant Director of Media Relations for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore throughout the 2022-23 academic year. Lewis served as the primary contact for men’s basketball, softball, and men’s and women’s golf. Lewis also managed UMES social media and assisted with gameday operations, including inputting and calling of statistics, public address announcing and photography/videography during games.
Prior to UMES, Lewis began working as the Athletic Broadcasting Coordinator at Washington College in January 2022. Lewis also took on a role in the front office with the Delmarva Shorebirds in March and served in a freelance writing role for the University of Texas-Permian Basin throughout the spring.
Born in Easton, Maryland, Lewis began attending Salisbury University in 2018. Throughout his 3.5 years of study, he served as the lead broadcaster for the student-run “Sea Gull Sports Network” and the Sports editor of the student newspaper “The Flyer”. He graduated from SU with a Bachelor's degree in Communications-Multimedia Journalism and a minor in Athletic Coaching in December 2021.
