Borg enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Salisbury University women's soccer team in 2025.
Borg joins Salisbury by way of Alabama State University, a Division I institution competing in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). She served as the Interim Head Coach of the Hornets following the retirement of the previous head coach, guiding three players to earn All-SWAC honors and helping the team's goalkeeper to one Goalkeeper of the Week award.
Prior to Alabama State, Borg served as an assistant coach at Delaware State University during a pivotal time in the program's evolution. After competing as an independent program for ten seasons, the team officially joined the Northeast Conference (NEC) in the fall of 2024 during Borg's tenure. She played an integral role in preparing the squad for conference competition with a primary focus in player development and defensive structure. Under her guidance at DSU, the starting goalkeeper ranked among the top net-minders in the nation in total saves.
Borg was also a key member of the staff at Millsaps College prior to DSU, a Division III school competing in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA). Borg helped the Majors earn their first conference win in over five years during the 2020-21 campaign while coaching three players to All-SAA Honorable Mention for the second straight year.
Borg also made stops as the junior varsity head coach at Harrisonburg High School, where she led her squad to a 13-2 record in 2019 and assisted the varsity team to a district title, and an assistant coach at Bard College, where she helped guide the 2017 squad to the best start in school history (5-1) and coached four total All-Liberty League honorees in two seasons.
As a player, Borg spent four seasons at Eastern Mennonite University, a DIII institution competing in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). She broke the school record for most saves in a single season (170) in 2015, a record that still stands today. That figure also slotted 13th nationally. She stands second in the all-time EMU record books with 439 career stops.
Borg was a dual-sport athlete at EMU, earning an All-Conference second team nod in the discus in 2016 and a third team choice in the javelin in 2013. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology and Coach, earning her master's in Public Health with a concentration in Nutrition from Liberty University.
