Amanda Chew

    Graduate Assistant Coach
Amanda Chew enters her first season as graduate assistant coach for Sea Gull volleyball in 2023. Her duties include practice and game preparation, scouting, recruiting, position coaching and running team social media accounts.
 
Chew has previously served at the South River Volleyball Club, where she coached middle and high school students in various camps and clinics. In the summer of 2021 Chew coached youth volleyball camps in California through an internship with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
 
Chew put together one of Salisbury volleyball’s most decorated careers from 2018-22, ranking seventh in program history in attempted kills (3,612) and eighth in kills (1,177). A two-time First-Team All-Conference selection, she earned AVCA First-Team All-Region and All-America Honorable Mention in 2022. Chew was a star in the classroom as well, making the CSC Academic All-Region First Team four times on the way to graduating from SU in the fall of 2022 with a Graphic Design degree and Marketing minor.
