ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The Salisbury University volleyball team won both its matches in the Rockvale Outlets October Classic at Elizabethtown College, topping the host Blue Jays, 3-0 (25-23, 25-10, 25-15), and Goucher College, 3-0 (25-15, 25-22, 25-18), at Thompson Gymnasium Saturday.
The victories for Salisbury (24-3) stretch its win streak to eight matches.
Junior Chelsea Glowacki hit a team-high .619 with eight kills against Elizabethtown and seven versus Goucher. Sophomore Sam Seifert finished with 19 kills on the day, including a team-high 11 against the Gophers.
Junior Carley Todd went for nine kills, 11 assists and eight digs versus Elizabethtown and followed that up with three kills, 14 assists, 10 digs and five block assists against Goucher.
Freshman Michelle Meehan had 23 digs on the day, with 13 coming against Goucher.
SU is back home next Saturday, hosting Frostburg State University and Virginia Wesleyan College in a tri-match at Maggs Physical Activities Center at 11 a.m., and 3 p.m., respectively.
