ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's soccer team stumbled in a Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) road contest to the St. Mary's Seahawks, 2-1 on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• St. Mary's scored first in the 12th minute. St. Mary's got a corner kick in the box, the initial shot was saved by Ryan Miller but the rebound was put away by Josh McRobie.
• Salisbury fell behind 2-0 in the first half when McRobie notched his second goal of the game in the 24th minute off an assist from Roshawn Panton.
• Salisbury came out the gates hot in the second half as Luke Ahalt's shot from 20 yards out was stopped by a diving save by Patrick Paolini but Dolph Hegewisch buried the rebound for Salisbury's first goal of the game but that's the closest Salisbury would get in the second half.

GAME NOTES

• At the first half, St. Mary's held the 9-7 shot advantage but when looking to get back in the game, Salisbury took the 9-1 shot edge in the second half.
• Dolph Hegewisch notched five shots on target and netted his fourth goal of the season.
• Ryan Spadin put two shots on frame.
• Ryan Miller made three saves for Salisbury.
