HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Salisbury wasted no time getting on the board with a pair of goals in the first five minutes of the game. Meghan Jolikko scored the opening goal of the contest in the 2nd minute after Jenna Partilla passed the ball through the keeper's legs.
  • Domanico would get a goal of her own in the fifth minute after Arielle Johnston received the penalty corner feed and Domanico redirected the ball past the keeper.
  • McKenzie Mitchell put Salisbury up three in the second quarter after another penalty corner play saw Tara Daddio push the ball goalward to Mitchell.
  • Just like the first half, Salisbury wouldn't waste any time getting on the board after halftime as Daddio did a spinning backhand shot past the keeper from an assist from Johnston.
  • Johnston would tally a goal in the 44th minute off a slap shot at the top of the arc off an assist from Jillian Hughes.
  • Mitchell registered her second goal of the contest a minute into the fourth quarter off an assist from Allie Davis on a penalty corner.
  • MacKenzie Estrada would net Salisbury's final goal of the game in the 53rd minute on a redirect on Johnston's initial shot.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • It is Mitchell's second multi-goal game of the season.
  • Johnston leads the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) in assists with nine with her third multi-assist game of the 2019 campaign.
  • Salisbury rifled off three consecutive shutouts and totaled six so far this season.
