MINNEAPOLIS – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and D3baseball.com released its final poll of the shortened 2020 season and the Salisbury University baseball team jumps one spot to No. 9 in the rankings.
The Sea Gulls (8-3) won its final two games of the season last week, defeating Stevenson 11-2 on Wednesday before coming back late to defeat No. 13 Shenandoah on Thursday, 9-7.
Cal Lutheran (16-1) finishes the year in the top spot receiving 17 first-place votes. Randolph-Macon (15-1) holds the No. 2 spot for the second-straight week with four first-place votes. Babson (2-1) and Trinity (Texas) each received one first-place vote while coming in at Nos. 3 and 4, respectively. Chapman (12-3) rounds out the top 5.
