Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Salisbury University women's soccer team dropped their Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) road matchup to the Mary Washington Eagles, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon at the UMW Grass Field Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half was dominated by Mary Washington, who outshot Salisbury 9-2.
- The Eagle defense didn't allow a shot until Autumn Dougherty found Kyla Holt for a breakaway in the 26th minute, however the goalkeeper made a diving save to keep the game tied at zero.
- In the following possession, Mary Washington applied pressure to the Sea Gull defense when Abby Zimmerman found Mikaela O'Fallon, who drove the ball just off the fingertips of goalkeeper Emma Hill to make it a 1-0 game.
- In the closing minute of the first half, the Eagles drew a foul inside the box. Katherine Brady took the penalty kick and converted it to make the game 2-0.
- The second half saw more back-and-forth in possession, however the Sea Gulls only managed three more shots on offense.
- The Eagles found the back of the net again in the 84th minute after a bouncing ball landed perfectly in front of O'Fallon, who shot the ball just out of reach of Hill to give the match its final score of 3-0.
