TWO DEEP
SPECTATOR POLICY

The Series: Salisbury leads the overall series against CNU, 13-5, with Salisbury having the upper hand in the past four contests. CNU has yet to win back-to-back games against Salisbury in the series that dates back to the first game in CNU history back on Sept. 1, 2001.

Ready to Clinch: The defending NJAC Champions, Salisbury has a chance to clinch the NJAC South Championship with a win on Sunday. Since joining the NJAC in 2015, Salisbury won the outright title or a share of the championship twice in program history.

Last time against CNU: Salisbury blanked CNU 51-0 last season. Salisbury notched 598 yards of total offense, compared to CNU's 155. Salisbury recorded 395 rushing yards and 203 passing yards. Jack Lanham totaled 334 yards on the day. Lanham went 8-for-13 for 195 yards, a passing touchdown and an interception. On the ground, Lanham registered a game-high 139 yards on 14 carries and two scores. Chad Gleason caught two passes from Lanham for 102 yards and a touchdown. Lenard Prue reeled in three passes for 53 yards.

On defense, Salisbury did not allow CNU to convert a third-down (0-14). Joseph Manso paced the Salisbury defense with eight tackles, an interception and a tackle for loss. Sean Carroll joined Manso in securing an interception.

Scouting CNU: CNU is coming off a 2-8 season in 2019, which included a 2-5 mark in the NJAC. It is the lowest win total in the 19-year history of the CNU football team.

The new-look CNU team comes to the Eastern Shore of Maryland with a new look on both sides of the ball. Zander Jedlick returns under center, this time as the starting quarterback for the Captains. Jedlick came in relief last season against the Sea Gulls and threw a pair of interceptions. Running back Jaiquan Findley along with Adam Luncher will line up in the backfield for CNU.

CNU loses NJAC Defensive Player of the Year, Ben James, to graduation but looks to lean on the experience of senior linebacker Sean Williamson, who tallied 67 tackles a year ago.

Awards: Salisbury collected two weekly awards after the win last week against Wesley. Freshman linebacker Jimmy Celentano collected NJAC Defensive Rookie of the Week honors while junior superback Marcus Wilson was tabbed for the D3football.com Team of the Week. Celentano five stops in his collegiate debut last week while Wilson Wilson 101 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries against Wesley.

No Fly Zone: Senior All-American defensive Back Sean Carroll looks to climb the career interception list. He ended last season tied for eighth in career picks with 10.
