Box Score SALISBURY, Md. – A goal in the late minutes of the game proved to be the difference maker as the Salisbury University women's soccer team fell 1-0 to the Washington & Lee Generals on the final day of the SU Women's Soccer Classic on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both teams jockeyed for the opening goal of the game. The Salisbury offense threatened in the second half with shots by both Autumn Dougherty and Ally Goetz that were just off the mark, striking the post both times.
- In the 83rd minute, Washington & Lee's Ava Boussy was able to move the ball downfield and find her teammate, Erin Hoeh who was able to find the back of the net for the game-winner.
SALISBURY GAME NOTES
- Emma Hill tallied nine saves in goal to match a career-high set against Mary Washington on Oct. 23, 2019.
- Ally Goetz recorded four shots.
- The Sea Gulls totaled seven shots.
