Box Score ST MARY'S CITY, Md. – The Salisbury University women's soccer team dominated the pitch en route to a 5-0 shutout over the Marymount Saints on Sunday to finish the Seahawk Classic 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
· In just the third minute of the game, Ally Goetz outran the Marymount defense and beat the keeper one-on-one to score Salisbury's first goal.
· After a misplay by Marymount, Kasey Lamb was able to use a two-on-one advantage to find Zakiyyah McMillan, who was able to leg the ball just past the fingertips of the keeper to score her first collegiate goal in the 29th minute.
· It didn't take long for McMillan to find the back of the net again as she beat the Marymount keeper on a one-on-one in the 32nd minute to give Salisbury the 3-0 lead in the first half.
· In the 50th minute, Autumn Dougherty blew right past her defenders and was able to find Kyla Holt, who easily tapped the ball in the net for the fourth goal of the day for the Sea Gulls.
· After intercepting a pass, Kristen Ging used her speed and footwork to blow past the defense and score the final goal for Salisbury in the 52nd minute.
SALISBURY GAME NOTES
· Salisbury outshot Marymount, 20-11.
· Zakiyyah McMillan and Kristen Ging netted the first goals of their collegiate career. McMillan put away a pair of goals to pace the offense.
· Ally Goetz and Kyla Holt also tallied a goal in the victory.
· Regan Benton recorded a clean sheet and stopped the only shot on target from Marymount.
MARYMOUNT GAME NOTES
· Grace Neednum tallied three saves for the Saints.

· Salisbury will begin the two-day SU Women's Soccer Classic on Saturday, Sept. 11 against the Methodist Monarchs.
· The game is scheduled for a 3 p.m. start at the SU Soccer Complex.
