SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University field hockey team will hold its annual Corners for Cancer game on Wednesday, Oct. 5 against the York Spartans.
The team will be donning special pink uniforms for the game and encourages all fans in attendance to wear pink, as well.
The Sea Gulls will offer fans a chance to pledge an amount per penalty corner earned by Salisbury during the game or to donate a single amount with all of the money raised benefiting Salisbury's Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. Donations will be taken during the game through cash in the concourse of Sea Gull Stadium or using the
GIVING LINK.
Salisbury leads the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference and ranks third in the nation in penalty corners per game, averaging 13.44 corners per contest.
Wednesday's contest is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Sea Gull Stadium.
