  • The scoring slowed down the stretch, with just 10 points scored in the final 6:34 of the opening half. The Griffins outpaced the Sea Gulls 7-3 in that span to lead 36-31 at the break.
  • Buckets from Camper and Reed Rebstock helped the Sea Gulls open the second period with a 5-0 run to tie the contest once more at 36. GMU converted an and-one opportunity to quickly take the lead back, 39-36.
  • SU held a slim edge over the Griffins over the next two minutes, outpacing the hosts to return the deficit to one, 43-42. Gwynedd Mercy claimed the next five in just 32 seconds to jump start an 11-0 swing that increased the lead to 54-42.
  • A layup from Camper helped end the scoring drought, but the Griffins cashed in on a trio of looks from range to earn their largest lead of the night, 63-44.
  • The Sea Gulls dug deep and found a late rally, scoring seven of the next nine points, narrowing the gap to 65-51. The final four minutes saw the sides trade late scores, with Cameron Heard netting four points to lead the Salisbury offense late, but the Griffins held on to win by a 72-57 final.
