SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University women's soccer team remained unbeaten for the fourth consecutive match, blanking the Hood College Blazers for 90 minutes in a scoreless draw on Wednesday evening at the Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Soccer Complex.
The Sea Gulls (5-3-7) held the visitors to five shots and just two on-target looks in the match. The first of those came in the 32nd minute, right before Salisbury tested the opposing net-minder just 32 seconds later.
The Blazers (2-5-7) had to weather 15 shots, including six on goal, in the second half. The Sea Gulls also earned five corner kicks to Hood's one in the second period.
GAME NOTES
- Ashley Pantano and Autumn Conway shared the team-lead with two shots on goal.
- Zakiyyah McMillan took a team-high four shots and placed one on target.
- Hayle Foreman made a pair of saves across the full 90 minutes.
- Salisbury's seven draws in 2024 are the most in program history.
- The Sea Gulls have logged four scoreless draws this season, matching the program record for scoreless draws set 20 years ago during the 2004 campaign.
