SALISBURY, Md. - The No. 9 Salisbury University football program picked up another dominating NJAC win 44-8 over Montclair State University Saturday afternoon inside Sea Gull Stadium.
The Sea Gulls (6-0, 3-0 NJAC) scored double-digit points in each quarter except the second and held the Red Hawks (2-4, 0-3 NJAC) to only 146 total yards of offense.
Jaden Davis found the end zone first for SU followed by
Dario Belizaire giving the Sea Gulls a 13-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Kollin Samaha tacked on a 32-yard field goal giving Salisbury a 16-0 advantage headed into the halftime break.
Nero Schrader started the second half by blocking the Red Hawks' punt on their first possession of the half setting up the Sea Gull offense in prime position to add to the lead. Just one play later
SyRus McGowan found
Daniel Clark for a 27-yard touchdown pass.
McGowan tallied three passing touchdowns for 102 yards in the second half as the Sea Gulls cruised to victory.
