ABINGTON, Pa. - The Salisbury University women's basketball program picked up an overtime victory on the road against Penn State Abington 73-70 Sunday afternoon. In a game with 14 lead changes and 13 ties, the Sea Gulls outlasted the Nitty Lions in overtime, outscoring them 10-7.

After leading 12-10 at the end of the first quarter, SU sustained that lead in the second taking a one-point advantage into halftime. The teams again were evenly matched in the third scoring 14 points apiece keeping the lead in the hands of Salisbury.

The fourth quarter alone tallied seven lead changes and six ties. The Nitty Lions had the ball last but Alex Bull blocked an Abington layup forcing overtime. Jen Juhring got the scoring starting in overtime giving the Sea Gulls a lead they would never lose. Juhring earned a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
