The 2024-25 Salisbury University women's basketball team heads into year two under Aprile Preller ‘19. Preller adds seven freshmen to a cast of eight returners from last season who look to build on the team culture they created in year one.
The Sea Gulls finished last season 9-17 falling to CNU in the Conference Tournament after beating Mount Mary 81-50 in the first round. Salisbury defeated Notre Dame (Md.), 63-41, for Coach Preller's first win as a head coach in last year's season opener. Salisbury opens the season on the road on Saturday, Nov. 9th when they travel to Washington College (Md.) for a 1 p.m. tip-off. The home opener is set for Tuesday, Nov. 12th at 6 p.m. when they host Notre Dame of Maryland University.
