  • Salisbury finished the 2025-26 regular season with an 15-10 record.
  • The Sea Gulls took home the first ever Governors Challenge Collegiate title with an electric game-winning floater as time expired from Kayla Nieberlein after hustling for an offensive rebound with just three seconds left against Immaculata University back in November from the Wicomico County Civic Center.
  • They also went down to San Juan, Puerto Rico and picked up two wins over Western Connecticut State and King's (Pa.) right before New Years. This was apart of a stretch where the Sea Gulls won 9 of 11 games.
  • The SU offense averages 68.6 points per game, while holding opponents to 63.6 points per game. Salisbury shoots 40 percent from the floor and 31 percent from three-point range. The SU defense forces nearly 20 turnovers per game.
  • The tournament begins on Thursday with a battle between #5 UC Santa Cruz vs. #4 Mary Washington at 3 p.m. to see who will battle CNU in one semifinal game on Friday. The Sea Gulls will follow that first game with a matchup against #6 Regent to see who takes on JWU Charollte in the other semifinal game Friday. The winners of the semifinal games on Friday will meet in the 2026 C2C Conference Tournament Championship on Saturday at 7 p.m.
  • Salisbury is seeking its fifth conference championship and first since winning the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC, now C2C) crown in 2015. The Automatic Qualifier for the NCAA Tournament is on the line.

We are very excited about the opportunity to host the C2C Playoffs here in Maggs. We have had great support all year and are excited to compete in front of our family, friends, and the Salisbury community. Our team has endured both the highs and lows of the season together, and we believe the growth from this season has prepared us well to compete in playoffs. This tournament provides an AQ into March Madness, so we appreciate any and all support in the stands as we work to punch our ticket!
