SALISBURY, Md. - The No. 7 Salisbury University football program dominated McDaniel College 69-13 on Senior Day Saturday afternoon inside Sea Gull Stadium.
The Sea Gulls scored 21 points in the first quarter followed by 28 in the second taking a 49-0 lead into the halftime break. The scoring started when
SyRus McGowan took the first carry of the game 46 yards for a touchdown.
Ronald Clark bulldozed in from a yard out for the next touchdown while
Jaden Davis scampered from 17 yards out to give the Sea Gulls a 21-0 lead.
Michael Cox added two touchdowns in the second quarter while
Ki'Sean Gray-Dantzler found the end zone from 21 yards out.
McGowan also had the air attack working in the second quarter for SU finding
Micah Brubaker for a 52-yard touchdown.
Gray-Dantzler added another rushing score in the third while
Kharee Stephens and
Darrell Walter found the end zone to put on the finishing touches for the Sea Gulls in the fourth.
Salisbury totaled 521 yards of total offense while also creating three turnovers defensively.
