SALISBURY, Md. – Two Salisbury University student-athletes garnered Jersey Mike's A Sub Above Players of the Week recognition with nods from the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) and Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C).
Fourth-ranked field hockey's

Gwen Eustace repeated as C2C Offensive Player of the Week to add to her season's collection.
Kaitlyn DeModna | SUNYAC Field Hockey Offensive Athlete of the Week | First Career
DeModna (Sr. – Brewster, N.Y.) netted two goals, including one via a penalty stroke, in the Sea Gulls' 6-0 win over SUNY New Paltz on Saturday to clinch the No. 1 seed in next month's SUNYAC Tournament. The double dip was DeModna's third of the season and 10th of her career; it also gave her five goals in her last three games, all against league competition.
Gwen Eustace | C2C Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week | Seventh Career (Fourth This Season)
Eustace (Sr. – Olney, Md.), whose four weekly nods lead the C2C this season, registered 38 kills (4.22 K/S) against just two errors over three matches, hitting a transcendent .679 to help the Sea Gulls roll through Marymount (Va.), Arcadia, and York (Pa.). In Saturday's joust with Arcadia, Eustace powered down 16 kills with no errors, including 10 in the decisive fourth set and accounting for SU's final seven points of the match.
