Game Recap: Men's Soccer | | Andrew Barbieri

Men’s Soccer rolls past Regent

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's soccer program poured it on against the Regent University Royals, winning 5-0 on Saturday at the Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Soccer Complex.

The maroon and gold were off and running in the third minute as Dale Gordon made a run on the left side of the pitch and gave a cross that pinballed to Noah Blankensop, who struck the ball home.

With under 10 minutes remaining in the first half, Conor Moran swept the ball in off a corner and found the head of Connor Pyles to extend the hosts' lead.

AJ Ganais drew a penalty kick in the 42nd minute and took the PK himself, putting the cherry on top of a dominant first half that saw the Sea Gulls outshoot the Royals 19-1.

Ginais struck again in the second session after picking up the loose change off a free kick to pick up a brace. Liam Pierce ripped another goal home from distance moments after to put a bow on the victory.
