What would you say your hometown is known for?
Definitely the food. We're down South, so the soul food is really good – soul food, fried chicken, mac and cheese, there's a lot of good food spots downtown.
What's your favorite hometown hangout spot?
There's so much around Alpharetta. There are aquariums, walking parks, shopping centers – I love to go shopping with my family and friends, it's definitely a good time.
Which local sports teams do you root for?
I love the Atlanta Falcons – I recently became a big Falcons fan and I've been to a few games; they're so fun. The Atlanta Hawks are also really fun to watch; football and basketball are my favorite sports.
How did you hear about Salisbury University?
Salisbury was already a school on my radar when I entered the transfer portal; I got recruited by the coaching staff out of the portal, and I just loved the environment when I came for a visit.
What's the biggest difference between life in your hometown and life here in Salisbury?
Definitely the weather. Georgia's really hot most of the time, and sometimes Salisbury can get pretty cold, especially this month with the snow.
What's something you can turn to that reminds you of your hometown on the days when you miss it?
For me it's probably calling my parents and calling my friends. When you call your parents, you always feel like you've got a sense of home hearing their voices. It's definitely heartwarming, and it feels like I'm home when I call them.
How would you sell someone on visiting your hometown?
I think someone from Salisbury would love the weather down South, and the food. I'd say those are the two biggest selling points for Alpharetta and the whole area around Atlanta.
