Scouting Report

Rowan University
#4 Rowan Profs

It is the second year in a row the Profs have hosted an NCAA Regional and Super Regional in the same season, as Rowan advanced to the Division III Championship Series in 2024 and finished in third place.

The Profs won the Glassboro Regional by downing SUNY-Cortland, 2-0, in the finals on Sunday, led by Most Outstanding Player Emily McCutcheon. The junior pitcher went 2-0 with a pair of shutouts, both over the Red Dragons, and earned the save in the victory over Tufts while giving up just six hits and striking out six with zero walks in 13.2 innings of work. McCutcheon, along with Rylee Lutz, Payton MacNair, and Liz McCaffery were all named to the all-tournament team.

We are so excited for the opportunity to keep our season going and to be one step closer to the destination we have been talking about all year! Rowan will certainly be another tough opponent, but I have faith and trust in our preparation and look forward to playing more Sea Gull Softball!
Head Softball Coach: Lacey Lord (5th Season)
