2026 Softball Season Preview

LOOKING BACK AT 2025

Salisbury capped the 2025 season with a 38-6-1 record, winning its fourth consecutive NCAA Regional championship and 13th in program history. The Sea Gulls graduated a seven-member senior class of Jillian Dawson, Emily Challender, Rachel Keller, Emily Stockman, Taylor Scott, Ellen Stockman, and Carrie Jacoby. This class had contributed to 166 wins since the start of the 2022 season, one Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference championship, three NCAA Tournament appearances, two College World Series berths, and a national runner-up finish in 2023.

THE 2026 SEA GULLS

Softball – 18th | NFCA Division III Top 25

Salisbury enters the season as the 18th-ranked team in the nation. The Sea Gulls return 12 student-athletes from the 2025 squad, including six seniors, in hopes of returning to the NCAA Division III Softball Tournament for a sixth straight season.

2026 Salisbury Softball Roster
Consistency, I think that is going to be really key this season for this team. I believe we are going to have a lot of speed which we will need to rely on. We do have a great core returning from last season and we will need to lean on them early in the season.
