2025 Cross Country Season Preview

The 2024 Salisbury cross country teams both produced impressive resumes, earning a collective nine top-five team finishes, including a sweep of the Don Cathcart Invitational at Winter Place Park on Senior Day. The Sea Gull women earned 2nd place while the men placed 3rd at the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Championships. At the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships, the Sea Gull women finished 8th for their second-best team placement in 18 years, while the Sea Gull men placed 11th. SU has already started the 2025 season with a great start at the Salisbury University Fall Classic, as the men earned Gold, finishing ahead of the U.S. Naval Academy and Rowan University. The women placed third just behind Navy and Rowan.

NCAA Division III All-Academic Award
Anna Bodmer earned All-Region, placing 17th with a PR time of 21:47.6. Bodmer (22:35.8) also placed third at the C2C Championships, earning All-Conference First Team Honors. Leah Snyder and Madi Sisson also finished in the top 15 for SU, earning Second Team All-Conference honors.
The Sea Gull men placed three runners on the All-C2C Second Team. Landon Lewicki finished 12th with a time of 26:34.4. Seth Barron placed 14th, running a 26:42.1 8K, while Cormac Moroney earned a 16th-place finish, rounding out the All-Conference with a time of 26:42.6.
