GLASSBORO, N.J. – The Salisbury University men's soccer team suffered a 4-1 defeat to the No. 2 Rowan University Profs on Saturday at the Rowan Lacrosse & Soccer Complex.
The Profs found the onion bag three times in the first 25 minutes of the affair, and once more in the 57th minute.
The Sea Gulls would draw their first penalty kick of the season in the 67th minute.
Dale Gordon swept his left foot and drilled the PK to get the maroon and gold on the board.
GAME NOTES
- Gordon tallied his third career score and first of the season.
- Liam Pierce put both of his shots on net.
- Nate Jones made one save in 65 minutes in net, Will Noble made one stop in relief.
The Sea Gulls stay on the road and match up with the St. Mary's College of Maryland Seahawks next. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. inside Jamie L. Roberts Stadium.
