SALISBURY, Md. – Two Salisbury University student-athletes were recognized as Jersey Mike's A Sub Above Players of the Week by bringing home weekly awards from the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) and Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C).

Kelly Davis secured SUNYAC Defensive Athlete of the Week, while volleyball's
Kiley McTaggart locked down C2C Offensive Player of the Week.
Kelly Davis | SUNYAC Field Hockey Defensive Athlete of the Week | First Career
Davis [Sr. – Salisbury, Md. (Delmar)] recorded her first two shutouts in a Sea Gull uniform, holding Washington College and No. 9 Messiah out of the cage for a combined 124:11 in a pair of wins. On Wednesday at Washington, Davis stopped three Shorewomen shots as SU escaped with a 1-0 overtime victory. Then on Saturday at Messiah, she recorded four saves as the Sea Gulls cruised to a 4-0 win. Davis's 0.65 goals against average is tops among qualified SUNYAC keepers.
Kiley McTaggart | C2C Offensive Player of the Week | Fifth Career (First This Season)
McTaggart (Jr. – North Wales, Pa.) brought the hammer down to the tune of 48 kills at a .280 swing rate, averaging four kills per set in all three matches of the Sea Gulls' 2-1 weekend. She set a new career high with 20 kills in a Saturday five-setter against Tufts. McTaggart also chased down 26 digs over the three matches, including a career-high 10 on Saturday against Gettysburg to complement her 12 kills and register her first career double-double.
