SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University softball program officially announced its schedule for the 2026 campaign on Thursday. The Sea Gulls will play 18 of their 38 games at home inside Margie Knight Sea Gull Softball Stadium.
The season opens up at home for the Sea Gulls on Feb. 28th when they take on Swarthmore College at 10:30 a.m. followed by TCNJ at 12:30 p.m. They will battle each team again the following day, Sunday, March 1st, at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
SU will then travel to Raleigh, N.C. for the Triangle Classic, playing six games in three days. The weekend will be highlighted by a NCAA Super Regional rematch with Rowan University on March 7th at 1:30 p.m. The Sea Gulls will then get set to host the Margie Knight Classic while once again partnering with Wicomico County tourism, all games this year will be held at Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex in collaboration with the Maryland Sports Commission. The tournament kicks off inside Margie Knight Sea Gull Softball Stadium on March 13th when SU host Lynchburg at 1 p.m. for a double header. SU will play the next four games in two days at the Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex.
Salisbury will host Manhattanville for a double header on March 21st starting at noon before facing a eight-game road stand from March 25th through April 15th. They will battle Washington (Md.), Stockton, Messiah, and Stevenson on the road during that time.
The Sea Gulls return home for Alumni Day on April 18th against Mary Washington with the first game of the double header starting at 1 p.m. This kicks off a 10-game home stand in which the Sea Gulls will battle Mary Washington, Virginia Wesleyan, Ursinus, York (Pa.), and Catholic.
Senior Day is set for the double header against York College (Pa.) on Saturday, April 26th, with game one starting at 1 p.m. The Sea Gulls will wrap up the regular season on the road against Christopher Newport University on May 3rd, with game one of the double header starting at 2 p.m. from Newport News, Va.
