BALTIMORE, Md. – The second-ranked Salisbury University Men's Lacrosse team saw Blake Malamphy earn Face-off Specialist of the Year, along with seven members of the team collect Preseason All-American team honors, as announced by the outlet on Friday afternoon.

Malamphy, Riley Strub and Bryce Stevenson collected first-team praise, Connor HerraizJeremiah Stafford and Brady Mancha was placed on the second, while Ryan Della was listed as an honorable mention. Strub and Stevenson completed a sweep of being named to the first team of all three major outlets.

Malamphy, a senior face off specialist from Annapolis, Md., won 282 face offs at a 63.5 percent clip for SU in 2025. The FOGO added eight goals and handed out two assists while scooping up 157 ground balls in his junior season.

Strub, a senior midfielder from Darien, Conn., scored 69 goals and averaged 3.29 goals per game, good enough for 27th in the nation. Strub led Salisbury in man-up goals (9) and buried four or more goals in seven contests last season, including two six-goal performances.

Stevenson, a senior defender from Severna Park, Md., anchored the Gulls' defense that allowed under eight goals per game last season by causing 38 opponent errors and picking up 69 ground balls while chipping in four goals offensively.

Herraiz, a senior attacker from Succasunna, NJ, tallied 83 points in 2025, which leads the returning Sea Gulls this season. The Cabrini transfer's 53 helpers were good enough for third in the Coastal Lacrosse Conference last year, and he logged 17 efforts with three or more points, including a 14-game stretch from March 1st to April 30th.

Stafford, a senior long stick defender from Darien, Conn., led the 2025 squad with 49 disruptions and spent time playing close defense along with duties at LSM. Stafford collected 58 grounders to mark career-highs in ground balls and caused turnovers in 2025.

Mancha, a senior defensive midfielder from Parkside High School in Salisbury, neutralized the opposing offense as the top Sea Gull short stick defender and picked up eight ground balls to go along with four caused turnovers. The former Parkside Ram gave out his third career assist a season ago.

Della, a junior attacker from Annapolis, Md., produced 52 goals with nine assists for the Maroon and Gold while scoring seven goals when the Sea Gulls were man-up. Della boasted hat tricks in ten of the Sea Gulls' 21 games played a season ago.
