No. 5 Men’s Lacrosse poaches Colorado College, 21-5

SALISBURY, Md. – The fifth-ranked Salisbury University men's lacrosse team came to the turf fresh after a week long layoff, locking in and poaching the Colorado College Tigers, 21-5, on Wednesday afternoon at Sea Gull Stadium.

After spotting the Tigers the first goal of the game, the Sea Gulls went on a tear and deposited 13 in a row through the 5:40 mark of the second quarter. Trent Lucovich and Connor Herraiz netted two each as part of a first period that saw SU go up 7-1. The second belonged to Tristan Plotts, Ryan Della, and Riley Strub, who each notched two tallies to help the Gulls take a 16-2 lead into the break.

Salisbury kept the foot on the gas throughout the second half, with Plotts finding the back of the cage early in the third to complete his hat trick. Meanwhile, a combo of Matt Sentowski and three other goalies kept the Tiger attack at bay, allowing SU to cruise to the 16-goal victory.
