Women's Lacrosse puts three on IWLCA All-American Teams

Fleishell, Harrington land on First Team

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - The Salisbury University women's lacrosse team saw a trio earn places on the 2026 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America teams, as announced by the association on Friday afternoon. Abby Fleishell and Audrey Harrington were named First-Team All-Americans while Regan McDonnell was chosen for the Second Team.

Fleishell, a senior defender from Sykesville, Md., was a consistent shutdown defender for SU, leading the squad with 53 ground balls, 67 draw controls and causing 42 turnovers. The senior collected her first career assist and helped a Sea Gull backline that allowed nine goals in two games during the regional semifinal and final weekend, tallying six rollers, six caused turnovers and 11 draw controls.

The Century High School product was a cornerstone piece of a defense that ranked 21st in the country in scoring defense (7.05). Fleishell dispossessed Wesleyan (Conn.) in the National Semifinal seven times to mark a new career-high to reach 99 caused turnovers in her illustrious career in the Maroon and Gold.

Harrington, a senior attacker from Ellicott City, Md., has produced 45 goals and 42 assists across the 2026 season and leads the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference in assists per game with 2.05 a contest. Harrington posted seven points in two games this past weekend to help advance the Sea Gulls into the final four.

The Mount Hebron High School product's 2.05 helpers per game placed her 74th in the nation. Harrington's 87 points are the most since 2021, when Alexis Strobel '21 tallied 110.

McDonnell, a junior midfielder from Severna Park, Md., filled up the statsheet all year long, going for 34 goals, five assists, 27 ground balls, 26 caused errors and 63 draw controls, sitting only behind Fleishell in all three defensive categories for the team lead.

The Severna Park product progressed offensively, topping her 2025 totals of 26 goals and four assists in a brilliant junior season with the Gulls.

Both Fleishell and Harrington collect their second All-American honors from the IWLCA, while McDonnell takes home All-American laurels for the first time in her career. The trio was all named to the All-Chesapeake Region first team.
