Women's Lacrosse – 2nd | Division III Women's Lacrosse NPI, May 3
Salisbury (17-0) locked in the No. 2 ranking in the final NCAA Power Index (NPI) leading into the national tournament with 76.995 points, well behind top-ranked Middlebury (82.254) but well ahead of third-ranked Wesleyan (Conn.) [73.497].
The Sea Gulls captured their sixth consecutive Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) championship by besting Christopher Newport 11-9 in Saturday's tournament final. C2C Tournament MVP

SU earned a first-round bye and the right to host the first two rounds of the 2026 NCAA Division III Tournament on Saturday and Sunday. The Sea Gulls will battle either Union (N.Y.) or Mount Union in Sunday's second-round tilt at 1 p.m. inside Sea Gull Stadium.
Men's Lacrosse – 6th | Division III Men's Lacrosse NPI, May 3
Salisbury (16-3) secured No. 6 in the selection rankings with a 76.573 metric, landing between a pair of NESCAC schools in Wesleyan (78.361) and Bates (75.600).
The Sea Gulls stormed back to win their ninth straight league title in Sunday's Coastal Lacrosse Conference (CLC) championship game, erasing a 9-3 halftime deficit to pull off a 10-9 overtime stunner at Christopher Newport. SU has now won 28 out of a possible 31 conference championships since joining its first league in 1995.
SU will host the second and third rounds of the 2026 NCAA Division III Tournament on Saturday and Sunday. The Sea Gulls will battle the winner of Wednesday's Roanoke-Marymount (Va.) tilt in the second round on Saturday at 3 p.m. inside Sea Gull Stadium.

Salisbury (30-9) remained at No. 7 with 453 points, just a stone's throw behind No. 6 Johns Hopkins (467) and a tick ahead of No. 8 Shenandoah (453). SU also reinforced its NPI metric with a 60.181 mark that slots eighth.
The Sea Gulls finished off the regular season with convincing wins over Hood, Immaculata, and Cairn, extending their season-long winning streak to 10 games. Salisbury's hot streak lies in large part due to its pitching – the staff ranks second in the nation in team ERA (2.63), third in WHIP (1.15), and six in shutouts (6).
Second-seeded SU will square off with third-seeded CNU in Friday's C2C Tournament semifinals at 3 p.m. inside Donnie Williams Stadium. The winner will face either top-seeded Mary Washington or fourth-seeded Regent in Saturday's championship game, which will be played at the best-remaining seed at a time to be determined.
Men's Track & Field – 25th | USTFCCCA Outdoor Track & Field Rating Index, May 5
Salisbury returned into the coaches' top 25 with a metric of 63.30, sitting just behind No. 24 Concordia Moorhead (65.44) but leapfrogging John Carroll for the final official ranking.
The Sea Gulls captured their 19th outdoor conference championship and first in three years, running away with the crown at the C2C Outdoor Championships by 78 points. Track Athlete of the Meet
Kai Smith won gold medals in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, headlining 11 C2C titles for the maroon and gold.
SU will send select athletes to the Widener Final Qualifier on Monday in preparation for the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships on May 21-23 in La Crosse, Wisc.
