SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University field hockey program announced the Sea Gulls' 2026 schedule, a 16-game slate featuring nine home contests at Sea Gull Stadium and a challenging lineup of regional and nationally recognized opponents. The schedule also includes a pair of road trips to New Jersey and New York before Salisbury begins postseason play in the SUNYAC Tournament.
The Sea Gulls open the season at home on Tuesday, Sept. 1, welcoming Swarthmore to Sea Gull Stadium before making their first road trip of the season to face Stockton on Sept. 6. Salisbury returns home for four consecutive contests against Washington College (Sept. 9), Messiah (Sept. 12), Johns Hopkins (Sept. 16), and York (Sept. 30), with a pair of road games at Stevenson (Sept. 23) and St. Mary's (Sept. 26) separating the homestand. The Messiah game will also play host to this years Youth Day sponsered by SeaSide Smiles with posters avalible for autograph from players postgame.
October begins with back-to-back road contests in New York against Oswego State (Oct. 3) and SUNY Morrisville (Oct. 4) before the Sea Gulls return to Salisbury for four of their final six regular season games. Home matchups against Oneonta (Oct. 11), Christopher Newport (Oct. 17), Mary Washington (Oct. 21), Cortland (Oct. 23), and The College of New Jersey (Oct. 31) highlight the stretch run, while road trips to Rowan (Oct. 28) complete the regular season slate. The CNU battle on Oct. 17th will play host to the Alumni Celebration of 1986, and the TCNJ game will serve as Senior Day.
Following the regular season, Salisbury will compete in the SUNYAC Tournament, scheduled for Nov. 6-7 in Cortland, New York. The NCAA Tournament begins on Nov. 11, with regional competition slated for Nov. 14-15 before the NCAA Division III Final Four takes place Nov. 20-22 in Geneva, New York.
The 2026 schedule features 16 regular-season games, nine home games at Sea Gull Stadium, seven road contests, and matchups against perennial regional and national contenders including Messiah, Johns Hopkins, Christopher Newport, Cortland, Rowan, TCNJ, and Mary Washington.
Reservations are now being taken for suite usage at Sea Gull Stadium. To request a reservation, email Jess Stoltz at jrstoltz@salisbury.edu with the sport and date of contest, along with the number of people in your party. Your request will be reviewed in the order it was received. Suite rentals for the 2026 field hockey season are $300.00 per suite, per contest.
