KANSAS CITY, Mo.  – The Salisbury University women's soccer program was recognized as a United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award winner, awarded for its exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.

Head coach Kwame Lloyd's squad was tabbed for the second consecutive season, posting a 3.43 GPA during the academic year.

A total of 804 soccer teams (339 men, 465 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year.

The SU women's program concluded the 2025 season with a 6-11-5 overall record and an appearance in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) semifinals. They will begin the season on the road in Chestertown, Maryland, on Sep. 1st when they take on Washington (Md.) at 4 p.m.

Salisbury University is a proud member of NCAA Division III with primary membership in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference, along with affiliate membership in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (football, men's & women's swimming), Coastal Lacrosse Conference (men's lacrosse), State University of New York Athletic Conference (field hockey), and Colonial Women's Golf Conference (women's golf). With over 500 student-athletes in 23 varsity sports, SU is recognized as one of the nation's most competitive intercollegiate athletics programs regardless of division, featuring dedicated coaches and staff that foster excellence on and off the field.
