SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's soccer program notched its fifth straight win behind an offensive explosion to ground the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptors, 4-0, on Wednesday afternoon inside the Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Soccer Complex.
The Scarlet Raptors (2-3-1) drew the first shot of the contest, which was stopped by
Nate Jones in the first minute. The Sea Gulls (5-0-1) would settle into the affair afterwards as
Dale Gordon generated a slew of chances that resulted in SU's first tally of the contest from a free kick by Gordon that was taken outside the box and buried into the bottom left corner.
The Gulls put the pedal to the metal in the second segment, striking 38 seconds into the frame. Out of the break,
Tanner Calzado controlled the ball inside the box and fed a cross into traffic, finding
Conor Moran's right foot to double the Salisbury advantage.
Just over 10 minutes later, Moran swept in a corner to the far post, landing on the head of
David Brunetti, then to the opposite pipe for a tap-in header by
Liam Pierce.
Bryaden Dull would weave into the box in the 66th minute and set up Pierce for a second marker, putting the game well out of reach.

The Sea Gulls prepare to face Roanoke on Saturday in Salem, Virginia, at 2 p.m., then battle with No. 10 Lynchburg on Sunday in a trip to the Old Dominion.
