SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University women's soccer program conceded four first-half scores and fell to the Bridgewater College Eagles 4-1 on Saturday afternoon inside the Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Soccer Complex.
The Eagles (5-1-0) struck four times in the first 34 minutes of play to hold a comfortable advantage on the Sea Gulls (0-6-1) halfway through the contest.
Salisbury gained control of the second session and saw
Audrey Kregelka and
Brooke Spadin both generate a pair of shots. Shots were 8-5 in favor of the Maroon and Gold.
SU would break through off a set piece in the 61st minute.
Rebecca Fairbanks spearheaded a tic-tac-toe sequence, sending a free kick straight to
Callie Chesney on the near side of the box, who sent a feed to the opposite pipe for
Sophia Pierce to tap into the onion bag.

The Sea Gulls head to southern Pennsylvania to face the York College of Pennsylvania Spartans on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
