SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University women's tennis team earned a 9-0 victory over Bridgewater (Va.) College on Sunday morning at the Salisbury University Indoor Tennis Center, and in the process garnered the 200th career win for Head Coach Randy Halfpap.

The milestone win comes in Halfpap's 18th season as the Salisbury head coach and brings his career record with the program to 200-95 overall.

The Sea Gulls (2-3) began the match with a sweep of the doubles contests, with senior Claudia Lohn and sophomore Taylor Cooper picking up an 8-3 win at No. 2 and junior Sage Cole and freshman Jordan Schaefer winning 8-4 at No. 3.

The No. 1 pair of freshmen Annika Kezman and Julia Kwedi picked up the third doubles point with an 8-6 win at No. 1.

Salisbury won the six singles matches, with five coming in straight sets. Lohn earned a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 3 before Kezman closed out Jamiah Lewis at No. 1 by a 6-2, 6-4 score to secure the victory.

Kwedi went three sets to win at No. 2, by a 6-0, 4-6, 10-8 scored and Salisbury's final three wins came in straight sets. After winning the first set, 6-3, at No. 4, Cooper rolled to a 6-0 win. Cole needed a first-set tie-breaker, but took the momentum from that win to earn the match 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 and Schaefer won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6.

Salisbury will wait two weeks before getting back in action with its second Capital Athletic Conference match of the season traveling to St. Mary's College of Maryland on March 10.
