Men second, Women third as Indoor Track & Field resumes at Eastern Shore Invitational

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – The Salisbury University indoor track and field teams broke out of their winter hiatus in a big way with the men's and women's squads each earning podium finishes on Friday at the Eastern Shore Invitational, hosted by the University of Maryland Eastern Shore at the Hytche Athletic Center.

The Sea Gull men managed a second-place finish with 144 points, sandwiched between a couple of Division I schools in first-place Delaware State (172.5) and third-place Eastern Shore (117). The Sea Gull women took third with 94 points, finishing behind only Eastern Shore (150) and Delaware State (122).

The meet was originally scheduled to be held over two days but was condensed to one day due to the oncoming winter storm expected to hit the eastern seaboard.
