2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships Preview

Hill, the senior from Tabernacle, N.J., earned her NCAA qualification at the Widener Final Qualifier, where she set a school record in the long jump at 5.92 meters (19-05.25), earning 1st place and breaking her previous record. This jump placed her 4th in the nation for Division III and also posted a new Coast-to-Coast Conference record. At the Division III Indoor National Championships inside the Birmingham Crossplex, Hill placed 11th in the long jump at 5.49 meters (18-0 ¼) to earn Second Team All-American honors. 

Smith, the senior from Upper Marlboro, Md., posted a C2C meet record in the 100-meter with a time of 10.42 for a 1st place finish at this year's conference meet, where he also earned 1st in the 200-meter with a time of 20.65. Smith earned Male Track Athlete of the Meet as well as First Team All-C2C in both events for his NCAA qualification. At the Penn Relays this year, he tallied the school record in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10:35, which placed him 13th, only behind Division I runners. At the Division III Indoor National Championships inside the Birmingham Crossplex, Smith tallied First Team All-American honors in both the 60-meter and 200-meter. Smith tallied 3rd in the 60-meter with a time of 6.73 and earned 4th in the 200-meter with a time of 21.19.
