SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's and women's swim teams continued their hot start to the 2022-23 season with a sweep over its Eastern Shore rival, Washington College. It was the first time the women's program defeated the Shorewomen while it was the first win on the men's side over its feather friends up north since the 2010-11 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The men's team started the meet off in record-breaking fashion. The 200-meter medley relay team of
Dominic Ancey,
Dominic Kazzi,
Christopher Knorr and
Michael DeSimone broke the pool record with a time of 1:48.43.
David Gardner led the Sea Gulls in individual events with a first-place finish in the 400-meter free and two silvers in the 800- and 200-meter free.

Samantha Watson led the women's team with two golds in the 100- and 200-meter breast and was also part of the 200-meter medley relay team that finished first.
