MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Salisbury University men's and women's track and field teams finished strong through day three of the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational on Saturday afternoon in Myrtle Beach.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Men
- Dylan Haun earned a bronze in the high jump, taking third place with a personal best-tying height of 1.83 meters.
- Ethan Gray (10:30.37) and Sebastian Quinn (personal-best 10:40.83) finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
- Justin Speirs cracked the top-15 in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing 15th in 59.62 seconds.
- Ryan Temple, Mike Heinz and Brian Hufford all finished in the top 25 in the 800-meter run, with Temple (2:01.66) taking 16th, Heinz (2:01.69) 17th and Hufford (2:04.77) 24th.
- One day after finishing 10th in the 800 meters, Christian Ciattei took 24th in the mile run in 4:33.07.
- Sherrod Frye posted a 23.02-second mark in the 200-meter dash, finishing 37th.
Women
- A day after taking 10th in the 5,000-meter run, Alyssa Santoro claimed seventh in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing in 12:52.76.
- Heather Delaplaine earned a pair of top-15 finishes in two distance races. Delaplaine crossed 11th in the 800-meter run (2:25.91) and 13th in the mile run (5:25.05).
- Maddie Rathmann won her heat in the 3,000-meter run and finished 12th overall with a personal-best time of 11:47.26. Nikki Mondo (12:33.66) and Julia Isaacson (13:08.07) finished 20th and 25th in the event, respectively.
- Lian Peach set a new personal record in the triple jump, finishing 17th at 10.50 meters.
- Courtney Martin finished 19th in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:12.51.

- The Sea Gulls are off next weekend before returning to action for the two-day Towson Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 1-2.
