TOWSON, Md. – The Salisbury University women's tennis team collected its second consecutive sweep with a 9-0 victory over the Goucher Gophers on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Veronica Cuellar and Katherine Tamesis along with Sarah Cooper and Hannah Carter cruised to 8-0 sweeps in first and third doubles.
- Sarah Dover and Elizabeth Christine tallied an 8-1 victory over Gigi Bellisario and Alex DiGiovanni in second doubles.
- Cuellar and Carter registered clean sweeps in first and sixth doubles respectively.
- Dover secured a 6-4, 6-1 win over Bellisario in second singles.
- Tamesis, Christine and Cooper all notched two-set victories in third, fourth and fifth singles.
UP NEXT
- Salisbury will be back in action on Sunday with a pair of matches. Salisbury opens the day with Stevenson at 10 a.m. before taking on Ursinus at 2 p.m.
- Before the Stevenson match, Salisbury will recognize its graduating seniors.
